Data Science Write For Us – Share Your Insights

Have you worked with data and discovered something worth sharing? Perhaps your analysis revealed a problem nobody had noticed, your model performed differently in production than expected, or a simple change made a complicated workflow easier.

Work Prices is looking for original data science contributions that go beyond definitions and textbook explanations. We want articles that share useful thinking, practical discoveries and lessons readers can apply to their own work.

If you are searching for Data Science Write For Us opportunities, send us an idea that gives readers a reason to look at a data problem differently.

We Want the Story Behind the Numbers

A dataset can contain thousands of records, but the real value comes from asking the right question and interpreting the evidence carefully.

We are interested in contributions such as:

  • The unexpected finding: An analysis produced a result that challenged your initial assumption. Explain what you discovered and how you investigated it.
  • The problem behind the data: Missing values, inconsistent records or biased samples affected your work. Show how you identified the issue and what changed after addressing it.
  • The model that taught you something: A prediction model underperformed, produced misleading results or required a different evaluation method. Explain the lesson rather than presenting only the final score.
  • The practical solution: A Python script, SQL query or analytical method made a task more efficient. Show the problem, your approach and its limitations.
  • The decision that changed: Data helped you reconsider a business question, research hypothesis or operational process. Explain how the evidence informed the decision without overstating what it proved.

These are starting points, not a fixed list of acceptable subjects. If your idea offers a clear and useful lesson about data science, we would like to consider it.

Before You Pitch, Consider This

Imagine two article proposals.

Proposal A: An introduction to machine learning algorithms, including their definitions and general applications.

Proposal B: A comparison of two models on a particular dataset, explaining why the model with the better test score was not necessarily the better choice for the intended task.

The second proposal gives readers a specific question to explore and a reason to read beyond basic definitions. That is the kind of editorial direction we encourage.

Your article does not need impressive business figures or a complicated model. A careful analysis of a small dataset can be valuable when the question is clear, the method is appropriate and the conclusions are honest.

A Few Ground Rules

We ask contributors to respect a few essential standards:

  • Submit original work that has not been copied or lightly rewritten from another publication.
  • Support important technical claims with reliable documentation, research or clearly explained evidence.
  • Explain the dataset, method and assumptions when they affect the conclusions.
  • Distinguish correlation from causation and acknowledge uncertainty where appropriate.
  • Protect confidential information and avoid sharing personal data without proper authorisation.
  • Keep the article educational rather than turning it into a product advertisement or a vehicle for unrelated backlinks.

Code, charts and visual examples are welcome when they improve understanding. Make sure you have the right to share any datasets, images or other materials included in your submission.

Work Prices reserves the right to review and edit submissions. Publication, external links and author attribution are subject to editorial approval.

Send Us an Idea, Not Just a Keyword

To propose an article, email contact@workprices.com.

Keep your initial pitch focused. Include:

Your proposed headline: What question or problem will the article address?

The main takeaway: What should readers understand after reading it?

Your approach: Briefly describe the analysis, example, technique or experience you intend to explain.

Your background: Tell us briefly why you are familiar with the subject.

You can send a proposal before preparing the complete article. If you already have a finished draft, you may submit it for consideration as well.

Use the subject line Data Science Write For Us – Article Pitch.

Please wait for editorial confirmation before assuming that your contribution has been accepted. We cannot guarantee publication of every proposal or draft.

Let’s Make Data More Meaningful

Data science is not only about algorithms, dashboards or impressive numbers. It is about asking better questions, understanding evidence and making more informed decisions.

If you have a useful lesson, an interesting analytical finding or a practical approach worth explaining, share your idea with Work Prices at contact@workprices.com.

We would rather read one well-explained discovery than another generic overview of data science.
